Will on the Hill
The 8th annual Will on the Hill benefit, held on Monday,
April 26th, was an undeniable success, attended by more than 600 guests and
raising more than $267,000 for the Company’s artistic, education and
community engagement programs.
For the first time in history, Will on the Hill played to
a sold-out audience, providing the perfect combination of contemporary politics,
humor and Shakespeare that all in attendance enjoyed. More than fifty
senior staffers from Capitol Hill joined in the festivities as members of the
Honorary Hill Advisory Committee. In addition to the Congressional cast,
notable guests included Kalpen Modi, of the infamous Harold & Kumar films
and Associate Director for the White House Office of Public Engagement, and
Representative Louise Slaughter, Will on the Hill Honorary
Co-Chair and Chair of the Congressional Arts Caucus.
Will on the Hill would not have been possible without the
